Mari Hakkarainen

Mari Hakkarainen feels that we should all think like an entrepreneur: take responsibility for ourselves and others, be as effective and productive as possible while being courageous and trying out new things. The bioeconomy, co-operative entrepreneurship, business initiation and experiments get Mari excited. Mari loves to come up with the small or great steps forward together with the owner of the business idea. Mari’s coaching philosophy is “together we find the way or create it.”

Essi Silvennoinen

Developing profitable ideas and finding the right markets. Many people have told me that I am able to make others see opportunities and be reinspired to continue working.

Breaking large projects down into smaller tasks and producing energy for the work.

Essi believes in positive pedagogy and a growth-oriented attitude. By identifying our strengths, we can find the ways and means to improve business and professional growth as an entrepreneur. Before becoming a team coach, Essi worked in marketing and product development. Currently, she coaches companies and teams in improving their business and guides teachers in the theme of entrepreneurship.

Matti Mieskolainen

Matti has decades of experience working with global companies, meaning that he has extensive international and multidisciplinary networks, especially with Asian ICT companies and European contractors.

Matti’s strength is using his personality for continuous and natural networking. Matti’s specialities in business coaching include his experience in innovation processes and knowledge of the quality systems used in global companies. Matti has an innovative approach and his motto is “we do what we want – others do what they can.”

Suvi Salminen

Suvi is strong in creating a passion for entrepreneurship. Suvi knows how to help students identify their strengths and find their dreams. Her background is in occupational therapy and she has worked both as an employee and as an entrepreneur. Through these experiences, Suvi has gained her internal and external entrepreneurial skills, sometimes learning things the hard way. At JAMK, Suvi promotes the working life skills and entrepreneurial capabilities among students, and her motto is “Life isn’t about finding yourself.
